Daniel Arsham has produced two shoes in collaboration with the Three Stripes thus far, and it appears a third will release later this year, the Daniel Arsham Futurecraft 4D.

Daniel Arsham, an artist and one half of the famous Snarkitecture design firm, has been working with adidas on a project labeling each piece as “PAST”, “PRESENT” and now “FUTURE”. The past and present shoes featured two versions of the adidas New York, one in it’s original construction, and one with updates that visualize Arsham’s view of present style and technology. The third shoe from this collaboration has recently been announced, and may be the hottest one yet. The Arsham Future will feature a full-length adidas FutureCraft 4D midsole, confirming that adidas will be infusing their latest tech with as many silhouettes and categories as possible. The upper is made from Aero Green Primeknit to match the standard color of 4D. It features a light and breathable upper that is highlighted by the PK pattern most consumers will recognize from the Ultra Boost 1.0. The tongue is autonomous from the rest of the upper, meaning there won’t be an exact sock-like fit for the shoe. Extra padding around the heel and ankles provides support and durability, while the Futurecraft sole underneath provides comfort and all-day energy return. Early renders of the shoe reveal that it will have 3M stripes on both lateral and medial sides, while the word FUTURE will be printed across the toe box.
