Nigel Sylvester and Jordan Brand are moving on to a new silhouette for 2027. According to new leaks, the Air Jordan 6 will come in a Paperboy-inspired blue color scheme next summer.
Nigel Sylvester’s tenure as a Jordan Brand athlete has delivered us a wealth of excellent special releases. Their debut Air Jordan 1 High arrived in 2018, kicking off the partnership with a bang. They quickly followed up with an Air Force 1 Nike ID release, allowing customers to make their own color scheme and apply Nigel’s Bike Air branding to the iconic shoe. Their next release would take a few years, launching the Air Ship in 2023, followed by multiple Air Jordan 4 RMs, an AJ1 Low, and the crown jewel in their collection, two pairs of the Air Jordan 4.
Next year, Nigel and the Jumpman are moving on to another iconic basketball sneaker for the Bike Air series, the Air Jordan 6. Little is known about the release right now, but the leak from @zSneakerHeadz and SneakerFiles says the project will take inspiration from the 1985 Paperboy arcade game. In the game, the titular protagonist wears a royal blue jacket and delivers papers by bicycle, surely a source of nostalgia for Sylvester. The Air Jordan 6 will come dressed in blue to match the in-game fit, adding white accents for the sole and mini Swooshes. Pairs are expected to feature the Bike Air branding on the heels.

The next release from BMX rider and Jordan Nigel Sylvester has not been made official yet, and is not expected to land until Summer 2027. Dressing the Air Jordan 6 in a bold blue color scheme for this release, pairs are expected to feature Bike Air branding and come in a suede or nubuck construction. Pairs will be available through both partners as well as select retailers for and estimated $230.
