Vans' Premium Authentic "Ibiza" Pack

Vans’ hot streak continues this Summer, with new additions to their premium lineup of footwear. The latest brings a flurry of color to the low-top Authentic, drafted in two colorways for the “Ibiza” pack, coming soon.

Vans’ special projects team has been on a championship-level run this year. Having struck gold with their Souvenir Old Skool last Summer, the team has been pumping out some exciting releases from their Pearlized series to the ‘La Habana‘ edition Authentic. The Souvenir pair is still around, too, releasing in multiple new colorways very soon. This week another special projects offering has emerged, shared by one of the team’s designers, Greg Betty. Currently known as the ‘Ibiza” pack, the new style combines some of the details from previous releases into one eccentric sneaker in two colorways. Both share a messy, loose thread woven textile for the rear half of the shoe, with shades of red, orange, yellow, purple, and white. The front half comes in suede, in your choice of either black or dark red. The toes feature a mix of studs and spike following the curve of the shoe, with pre-distressed midsoles to complete the look.

The new pack brings a mix of suede and shaggy knit textile to the Authentic, executed in red- or black-based color schemes with metallic spikes and studs around each toe box. Pairs will likely release form both Vans and select retailers, with an expected price tag somewhere in the $120 range.
