Action Bronson’s partnership with New Balance strikes again this week. This morning we had another look at the upcoming 2811 model, and now Baklava himself has teased a third colorway of the 1890 runner, hopefully coming soon.
Collaborations from Action Bronson and New Balance have become more and more frequent in recent years. The rapper and avid foodie has lent his Baklava moniker to these projects, crafting colorful, fun spins on some of the Boston footwear brand’s classics and new releases. The most recent project features the 1890, a fresh silhouette still in the early stages of its rollout, with Baklava editions kicking things off back in February. This week, Bronson has teased a potential third release of the model, something of a surprise given we only ever saw two colorways during the late 2025 teases and releases earlier this year. The new pair is said to be an exclusive color scheme for his website, and colors the runner in many different tones. The look starts with a muted gold mesh underlay, adding grey suede for the forefoot tooth-like overlays. Heel counters are added in two layers, a brick red shade with Safety Orange layered on top, while red N logos stand out on each side. The midsole’s rubber portion comes in olive green, with blue Abzorb cushioning tucked underneath.
BAKLAVA X NEW BALANCE 1890 “GOLD/GREY” RELEASE INFORMATION
Action Bronson and New Balance have not announced any plans for a new release of their Baklava 1890 yet, but we hope to see this new style land in Spring or Summer 2026. This pair marks the third colorway for the new silhouette, which is predominantly colored in gold mesh and grey suede layers. Pairs are said to be an Action Bronson-exclusive release, and will likely feature the same $210 price tag as its predecessors.
