Kith and New Balance have settled into a pattern of regular releases, with new projects dropping every month. This week, founder Ronnie Fieg teased an upcoming collaboration between the two, a “Moonrock” edition of the 991v2.
Kith has become particular adept at teasing their upcoming projects, particularly their sneaker collaborations. There are generally two methods they use to share early looks at upcoming drops, either through official lookbook sneak peaks, or through founder Ronnie Fieg’s personal Instagram. Fieg frequently gives behind-the-scenes looks at works in progress, sometimes as small snippets in the background, and sometime via a deep dive on the product itself. The latest teaser for a New Balance project is a little bit of both, with Ronnie sharing a lookbook-like photo of a smooth new 991v2 style. The look appears similar to past “Moonrock” colorways from the two, painting the v2 in a tonal light brown shade across its multi-layered upper.
KITH X NEW BALANCE 991V2 “MOONROCK” RELEASE INFORMATION
The next release from Kith and New Balance has not been announced yet, but given Kith’s rollout method, we can expect a drop sometime in the next few weeks. The two have returned to the 991v2 for this project, dressing the model in a smooth “Moonrock” color scheme. Pairs will be available exclusively through Kith’s online and in-store channels, with pricing likely in the $250 range.
