Asics introduced their new GEL-NYC silhouette this year, bringing us plenty of collaborations and colorways to debut the new model. Releases will continue in 2024, with this “Ivy” green pair arriving in Spring.
The Asics GEL-NYC is the brand’s latest silhouette to join their retro running franchise, constructed from an amalgamation of several models from their lineup. The upper combines elements from the early-2000s GEL Nimbus 3 with the MC Plus V, while the tooling is borrowed directly from the GEL Cumulus 16 from 2018. The result is a stylish lifestyle model for everyday wear. This week, a new “Ivy” green pair has emerged, which begins with a smoke grey mesh underlay. The ivy green tones are added to the suede and synthetic overlays, while the mid layers and Asics branding come in cream white, matching the midsoles.

Asics’ new colorway of the GEL-NYC has not been officially scheduled for release yet, but they are expected to arrive sometime in Spring 2024. Dressed in an “Ivy” and “Smoke Grey” combination, pairs will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers for $130.
