New Balance continues to pump out new colorways of their 550, a retro model that rose to prominence after a collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore. This week brings us a new worn look in grey and blue tones, coming soon.
The 550 from New Balance has seen its fair share of releases over the past few years, dropping in dozens of fresh color schemes as well as a healthy dose of collaborative exclusive releases. While the 550 usually comes in pristine conditions, the latest pair to surface features a worn-in look, with a leather upper that appears dusty and used. The look features a grey suede toe with dirty white leather overlays, as well as a grey mesh collar. The ‘N’ logos come in dark navy blue, while a single hit of baby blue on the collars completes the look.
NEW BALANCE 550 ‘GREY/BLUE’ RELEASE INFORMATION
New Balance’s latest new look for the 550 has not been announced for release officially, though they are expected to drop next month, on May 12th, 2023, as a part of the annual ‘Grey Day’ collection. The grey & blue look with worn detailing will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $130.
