New Balance’s releases of the classic 992 silhouette have seemingly picked up steam this year, after being reintroduced to the NB arsenal for their twentieth anniversary last year. However, the popularity of the 992 continues to hold, as the Boston brand unleashes new colorways on a monthly basis. While most fall under the wide tree of New Balance’s inoffensive signature neutral tones, some releases opt for much more eye-catching shades, like today’s release of the “Aqua” 992, which shocks the eyes with its bright blue shades for the silhouette’s suede portions, while a more tame blue shade makes up the midlayers and tongue.

New Balance’s latest colorway of the classic 992 runner released today, August 11th, 2021, and is currently available directly from the brand’s website in a variety of sizes. The bright blue color scheme will likely release around the globe with the usual price tag of $180.
