After the Travis Scott Nike Air Force 1 went down last month, we haven’t seen too many rumors of new Cactus Jack silhouettes that will be coming soon but new images that just surfaced suggest a Black AF1 could be on the way.
2019 is coming to an end and Travis had himself a great year. We saw his sneaker collaboration turn the corner and solidify itself at the top among Kanye and Virgil. His shoes sell out within a blink of an eye and even resell for over thousands of dollars on the secondary market. As he has found his niche in the fashion industry, his voice has traveled past his musical fan base of ragers and reached fashion enthusiasts globally alike. 2019 was great for the Houston rapper and from the looks of it, 2020 will be even better.
This iteration finds itself with the same makeover as the Air Force 1 Fossil that just previously released but instead of the brown and mauve colorway, this time the pair opts for all-black. Different materials like canvas, suede, and corduroy all flood the silhouette while a colorful graphic dresses the heel along with multiple Cactus Jack Records spell outs in white. One notable change is the edition looks to draw inspiration from the OG Air Force 1 that released way back in 2017 as it features a Cactus lace shroud and a grill-like lace jewel. A white midsole and smooth gum outsole finish off the design rather nicely.
As of now, we don’t know if these are friends and family, mock-ups or will even see a release but speaking for the community, every sneakerhead would love to get their hands on a pair. You can check out the detailed first look below and as always keep it locked to JustFreshKicks for updates on the pair moving forward and all the latest sneaker news.
