The Nike SB Blazer Mid Surfaces in a Special Collaboration With Soulland During The Brand’s SS20 Show in Denmark

Nike SB has been all over the map with their collaborations in recent months, from the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 1 project to the following releases with the brand’s own skate team. Now, another project from the skate sublabel has surfaced, showing the Blazer Mid in a new snakeskin look courtesy of Soulland.

The Nike Blazer has been on a hot streak of releases so far this year, from the debut of the vintage-styled Blazer ’77 to collaborations with Slam Jam Socialism and a widespread project with Stranger things. This week, another new release for the classic silhouette surfaced online, showing off the basketball-turned-skate shoe in a sleek new snakeskin-covered look, courtesy of the team at Denmark’s Soulland.

Aside from the uniform snakeskin upper, Soulland’s new Nike Blazer Mid also includes a number of other enticing details. First, the standard Swoosh resting on the lateral sides has been shrunk considerably and appears to be made from stiff TPU plastic, like Nike’s series of “Jewel Swoosh” projects. The tongues feature a blood-red label with Nike SB branding, while a chenille Swoosh wraps around either heel from the medial to lateral sides. Finally, the new look is completed by Soulland’s brand name painted across the entirety of each outsole in maroon.

SOULLAND X NIKE SB BLAZER MID RELEASE INFORMATION

The new project between Nike Skateboarding and Soulland has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to arrive on shelves sometime later this year or early in 2020. Given the limited nature of this project as well as the premium choices in materials, we can expect this pair to retail somewhere above the usual $100, and release from both Soulland and Nike, as well as select retailers. Check out the early sneak peek below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more Nike SB release news.

UPDATE (November 6th, 2019): The Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid has not yet been announced for release, though they have started to issue pairs to members of the seeding list, as well as shipping them out to boutique stores. Given this new information, we are expecting them to drop sometime later this month, though there is no word on an exact date.
