The Whitaker Group is seemingly cooking up a big project with Nike, with each store under their umbrella contributing one or more colorways of the V5 RNR to the collection. Today, Social Status’ pairs in “Geode Teal” and “Phantom” have emerged, coming soon.
The Whitaker Group, the parent company that controls A Ma Maniere, APB, Social Status, and Jaide, is dropping an expansive Nike collection this year. The project was first revealed last month, when an AMM-branded pair of the Nike V5 RNR surfaced in a “Light Carbon” colorway. The leaks regarding the shoe said that it was just one piece of a larger project, which included at least seven total colors for the simple runner, a takedown of the popular Vomero 5 silhouette. Now, it seems like each Whitaker Group store will contribute a color or two to the collection, resulting in a wide range of options for this release.
Today, Social Status’ contribution to the collection has surfaced, featuring two colorways of the V5 RNR slated to drop in 2026. Their takes on the model, which first released early in 2025, are both more subtle than the eclectic AMM look. The first is a completely tonal version of the silhouette, cast entirely in a Geode shade of teal blue-green. The second is more neutral, adopting a white mesh upper paired with light grey overlays, and adding accent colors in teal, tan for the laces, and Shadow Berry red for the Swooshes.
SOCIAL STATUS X NIKE V5 RNR PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming string of Nike V5 RNR releases from The Whitaker Group’s retailers have not been announced yet, but will likely arrive in waves throughout 2026. Social Status is contributing two colorways to the project, one in a tonal “Geode Teal” and the other in “white & grey with green “Phantom” white with berry red and green accents. Pairs will be available from each respective retailer for $95 each.
