Saucony has revived their Friends program this season, inviting a wide range of fans of the brand to design their own takes on classics. This week, Rainer Imhoff’s Shadow 6000 “Stage Dives” landed and is ready for the mosh pit.
The Saucony & Friends program is one of the most interesting collaborative efforts in the world of sneakers. The program invites longtime avid fans of the brand to design their own version of a classic Saucony sneaker, telling a unique and personal story that we wouldn’t otherwise get to see. This week, the Shadow 6000 is taking a stage dive for its Friends-edition release.
The “Stage Dives” Shadow 6000 is designed by Rainer Imhoff, a longtime collector of the brand’s shoes and curator of the @SauconySneaks instagram page. His pair is inspired by his love of the hardcore and punk scenes, and presents a style of the Shadow 6000 ready for a stage dive or the mosh pit. The look features light and dark grey leather overlays over a white mesh bae, adding dark brown for the river logo, with tiny purple, maroon, and yellow accents to complete the look.
