The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 has had an interesting rollout since its debut in 2017. Now, adidas is going all in on the silhouette. Check out the new “Inertia” colorway releasing next Spring with Yeezy Season 8.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 is going through a pretty incredible roll out. Originally released in the form of a pre-order, the Yeezy Boost 700 made waves with it’s controversial 90’s design. The silhouette was initially not received well, with many consumers taking issue with the extremely chunky design, and that Kanye seemed to be playing into the “dad shoe” trend. Despite this, adidas and Yeezy are plowing ahead with the oversized sneaker. This month, we have our first look at a new colorway of the Yeezy Boost 700, rumored to be releasing next year as a part of Yeezy Season 8. Titled “Inertia”, the new look covers the entire shoe in varying shades of grey. Different materials use slightly different tones, some of which are tinted with blue and green to give depth to the different levels. The midsole also takes on this tonal color scheme, save for two neon orange hits on the lateral heel. Finally, the ribbed outsole will come in a light tan color.
