Pyer Moss’s ongoing Reebok collaboration has been one of the hottest series of releases in recent years. Now, Kerby Jean-Raymond and co. are taking matters into their own hands, debuting Pyer Moss’s first signature sneaker, the Sculpt 1.
Kerby Jean-Raymond’s Pyer Moss has been dominant in the fashion and streetwear scenes the past several years, as the designer continues to push forward new ideas and exciting designs, blending high fashion with sportswear. This week, the New York-based brand has unveiled its latest creation and first signature footwear silhouette, the Sculpt. Designed by Jean-Raymond and Reebok’s Evan Belforti, the Sculpt is an aggressive silhouette that blends the lines of fashion sneakers and sports shoes, as much of their designs do. The upper features a very angular, forward-leaning shape and is constructed from a combination of suede and mesh, while the midsole maintains the forward stance, building on the shoe’s height with a bulbous midsole, emphasizing the toe and heel sections with large rounding lines. The initial iteration of the new Sculpt silhouette will come in a two-tone makeup, which paints the upper in jet black, contrasting the bright yellow midsole tooling.
