PUMA Delivers the Suede VTG in a Limited-Edition “Made in Japan” Variation

The PUMA Suede was first introduced in 1968 and has since become a footwear and pop culture icon thanks to its presence around the sporting world. This week, PUMA is celebrating the Suede in style with a new ‘Made in Japan’ version.

PUMA’s classic Suede sneaker has seen a lot of love from the brand this year, celebrating the silhouette’s history and proximity to pop culture. Last month, the German sportswear brand launched it’s latest iteration of the classic Suede, subtitled Vintage,\ meant to be as close to the original pairs from 1968 as possible. Now, following up on the success of this release, a new round of vintage Suedes has surfaced, this time in the form of an ultra-premium ‘Made in Japan’ version. Available in either black or silver, these pairs feature a slightly higher cut around the collar of the shoe, as well as incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail in their construction.
