Sneaker Politics are hitting the open road for their latest collaboration with adidas. The Louisiana-based retailer has cooked up a special “Roadkill” style of the Adizero Goukana runner, coming this week.

The “Roadkill” theme for this Politics x adidas project seems a little gruesome, but is a common phenomenon along Texas’ western highways. The model pulls from the intersection of instinct & the open road, with its narrative inspired by survival and movement, making a lifestyle runner the perfect choice of silhouette. Breathable mesh forms the shoe’s base layer, with suede and nubuck stakced on top to mimic rough terrain. The chunky midsole features a gradient color, starting with soft pink at the heels and gradually transitioning to a smooth off-white hue.
