Pharrell has been soaking up a majority of adidas’ standard silhouettes and adding Triple Black themes to the sneakers and now the Visioneer has applied that same makeover to the DON Issue 2.
If we told you a couple of years ago Pharrell would be launching his own collaboratory designs with adidas GR sneakers, you would have told us we were going crazy. But now, Pharrell has embraced his role as a designer, not just to exclusive releases of his own Hu silhouettes but for other Three Stripes sneakers, like Donovan Mitchell’s signature shoe. The edition features a versatile all-black makeover that covers the entire shoe from the upper, tongue, laces, branding, heel clip, bounce rubber midsole, and outsole. “BLACK FUTURE” is added to the midsoles in tonal writing which adds the only Pharrell presence on the shoe. Don’s Spider logo is stamped on the heels to finish off the design.
