adidas’ Popular”Cheetah” Pack for the Samba OG Restocks This Week

0

Wales Bonner’s immensely popular collaborations with adidas are starting to bleed into the brand’s in-line releases. This week, two new cheetah print-clad pairs of the Samba OG have emerged, coming in Spring 2025.

adidas is still riding high on the renewed popularity of their classic Samba trainer, issuing more new colorways of the model each month. Their collaborative efforts with the shoe continue to bring fresh takes on the model, mostly through Wales Bonner’s seasonal releases. Their use of exotic prints and materials is starting to influence the main line releases, like this “Cheetah” pack coming in 2025.

adidas has drafted two different color options for their new cheetah print styles of the Samba. Both shoes use a faux fur textile for the base of the upper, in spotted shades of brown. First up, one pair adds black leather overlays for the stripes, eyestays, toe boxes, and heels, with a rich forest green inner lining. The second style is a bit brighter, adding white stripes, tongues, and heel tabs with a red inner lining.

Harris Tweed Lends Their Signature Textile to the Nike Dunk Low

0

Scotland’s Harris Tweed is one of the most iconic textiles in fashion, known for their attention to quality and made entirely from scratch in the Outer Hebrides. This year, Nike is applying the signature wool fabric to a new pack of Dunk Lows.

Harris Tweed is a special fabric that has been woven in Scotland for generations. The textile is not made by a specific brand, but the Harris name refers to the island Lewis with Harris, one of a series of islands that make up the Outer Hebrides, roughly 25 miles from the Scottish mainland. The cloth’s integrity is maintained by the Harris Tweed Authority, whose guidelines ensure that any fabric officially designated as Harris Tweed is “handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.”

This year, Nike is preparing to release a special collection of their iconic Dunk Low, constructed with fabrics guaranteed as Harris Tweed by the Authority. The pack will feature two colorways of the low-top model, one of which has surfaced in official images this week. The look comes in a simple mix of black and white fibers, spun and woven into a unique pattern that falls somewhere between houndstooth and checkerboard. The tongues feature official Harris Tweed labels, and inner linings come in a soft red fabric to complete the look.

The upcoming release from Nike, incorporating Harris Tweed textiles into their iconic Dunk Low, has not been announced yet but is currently expected to arrive in Fall 2025. Seen here in a simple black & white checkered pattern with a fuzzy exterior, pairs will likely release form both Nike and select retailers, with an expected price tag of $140.

While no official images have surfaced, reports indicate that the collaboration will feature muted tones, premium suede, quilted liners, and aged detailing, staying true to A Ma Maniére’s signature style. This pack has been confirmed to have 2 colorways.

These soft, sophisticated hues promise to bring a fresh, upscale feel to the Air Jordan 6, a model originally designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1991 and famously worn by MJ during his first NBA championship.

The Jordan Trunner LX Joins the “Rare Air” Series

0

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand previewed the return of their Trunner LX silhouette for 2025. This week, the model has unexpectedly surfaced in a special “Rare Air” makeup, joining other JB icons in the expansive collection.

The Jordan Trunner line originally debuted in 2000, and brought the Nike sub-brand into a new era of outfitting athletes for any occasion. Part runner and part trainer, as the name implies, the silhouette features a mix of mesh layers and velcro closures to achieve a unique look, ahead of its time when it first launched. Now, Jordan Brand is bringing back the Trunner LX model for its twenty-fifth anniversary.

After unveiling the return of the Trunner LX during All-Star Weekend in February, Jordan Brand has shard a few early looks at new styles for the model coming this year. This week, a new special-edition pair has surfaced, joining mainline Air Jordan models 1, 3, and 4 in the “Rare Air” collection. The pair features a base layer split between white and black, with some navy blue accents at the toes. The shoe’s velcro straps are mismatched, in red on the right shoe and Kelly green on the left. Small splashes of royal blue are added to the Jordan branding to complete the look.

JORDAN TRUNNER LX “RARE AIR” RELEASE INFORMATION

The new special-edition pair of Jordan Brand’s Trunner LX has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to land sometime in Fall 2025. The “Rare Air” edition features blue, red, and green accents over a black and white base, and will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $130.

adidas Channels High Fashion With the AdiZero Adios 1 “Leopard”

0

adidas has revived their AdiZero Adios 1 for in-line styles this year, after collaborations with Wales Bonner & Sporty & Rich helped drive hype for the model. This week, a new “Leopard” pair has surfaced, coming soon.

The adidas AdiZero Adios line began back in 2004, when the Three Stripes running team set out to make up the best possible marathon shoe on the market. The silhouette finally made its debut in 2008 at the Berlin marathon worn by Haile Gebrselassie, who went on to set a world record for a marathon in the prototype shoes. Fast forward to 2025, the Adios 1 is making a comeback, repurposed as a lifestyle sneaker.

The Adios 1 has already seen a few collaborations to help build momentum for the history-making shoe’s return this year. Sporty & Rich has a special project on the way soon, and this week official images of a wild new in-line style has surfaced. Pulling some inspiration from their work with Wales Bonner, the new look sports a faux leopard fur for the base of the upper, adding toe and heel overlays in faux cow hide. The rest of the shoe is framed in black, while striking green laces complete the look.

ADIDAS ADIZERO ADIOS 1 “LEOPARD” RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas has not yet announced when the latest style of their AdiZero Adios 1 will release, but they are expected to land sometime in Summer 2025. Featuring a leopard print upper with cow print accents and striking green laces, pairs will be available from both adidas and select retailers for $160.

adidas’ 3D-Printed ClimaCool Laced “Glory Grey” Releases This Week

0

UPDATE 8/11/25: Check out our review of the ClimaCool 3D-printed line for some impressions of the new technology.

Last week, we got our first look at a second style of adidas’ new ClimaCool model, a Laced version of the 3D-printed sneaker. Now, the model has surfaced in a second colorway, “Glory Grey”, releasing in July.

adidas first unveiled their next generation ClimaCool silhouette late in 2024, releasing the model in very limited numbers. The Clima line was first introduced in the early 2000s, and was designed to maximize airflow around runners’ feet. The modern-day version has come a long way from the OG, and is the first shoe in adidas arsenal to be fully constructed from their innovative 4D technology, an SLA 3D-printing technique that provides a squishy, comfortable cushioning but is dense and strong enough to withstand everyday wear & tear.

Last week brought us another rerelease of the new ClimaCool sneaker, as well as a first look at the second model in the new lineup, the ClimaCool Laced. Made using the same lattice technique as its predecessor, the second version ditches the slip-on construction in favor of a traditional tongue and lacing system, once again bridging futuristic innovation with classic textile manufacturing. Today, the silhouette has surfaced in a second colorway, a clean “Glory Grey” shade, paired with a black tongue and laces to complete the look.

ADIDAS CLIMACOOL LACED “GLORY GREY” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pair of 3D-printed shoes from adidas has been scheduled for its official Three Stripes release on August 15th, 2025. The Laced version of the new ClimaCool model will be available through the brand’s Confirmed app via a raffle-style release. Pairs will come with a price tag of $160.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Kobe Forever” Releases Fall 2025

Just a few days ago, a special pair of Nike’s Air Force 1 surfaced in a tonal Court Purple color, celebrating Kobe Bryant with a snakeskin pattern and numbers 8 & 24 on the heels. Now, a second pair has emerged, this time in triple white.

Nike’s Kobe releases have ramped up significantly in the last few years, after taking a short hiatus while they worked out a new deal with his estate through Vanessa Bryant. Now, the two appear to be on great terms, with Vanessa acting as the primary leaker of new colors and special releases. Just last week, we had an early look at a pair of the Air Force 1 in a premium build, featuring a snakeskin pattern and both of the Mamba’s jersey numbers across the heels.

This week, a second pair of the Kobe AF1 has come across our timelines, mimicking all of the details of the “Court Purple” style, but now in a more iconic Air Force color scheme: triple white. There is not much more to add here, the shoe features the same snakeskin patterned finish to the leather upper, and features a number 8 on the left heel, and 24 on the right. This pair likely also features the special dubrae tags at the base of the lacing system.

KOBE BRYANT X NIKE AIR FORCE 1 “WHITE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next edition of the Kobe Bryant Air Force 1 Low will make its debut sometime in Fall 2025, though there is no set date yet. Cast in a entirely in white to match the other pair in purple, this special-edition version will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $130.

Brain Dead Teases New adidas Footwear for Fall 2025

Brain Dead adidas FW25

Brain Dead, the Los Angeles brand founded by Kyle Ng, has formed a strong bond with adidas over the last year. This week, they’ve teased a new selection of Three Stripes footwear, releasing throughout the Fall 2025 seasons.

Brain Dead is one of the most unique clothing brands operating at a high level right now. Led by Kyle Ng, the brand pulls from wide and varied sources of inspiration, often venturing into niche sports and hobbies for their collaborations and focuses. This week, Brain Dead has teased some of their upcoming work with adidas, showing off several different models from all corners of the sporting world. First up is the Barricade 13, a tennis performance model that seems to build on their recent lifestyle tennis collection featuring the Forest Hills. Next, they showed off two styles of the Taekwando, a slim silhouette currently gaining in popularity through other collaborations. One of the BD pairs shown features a nod to the iconic Micropacer via the tongue flap. The third model is the ClimaCool 2, a 2003 running shoe emphasizing air flow and breathability for your feet. Finally, the Japan makes an appearance in its boxing boot form, featuring an ultra-high cut collar and and sewn on flame paneling.

The Air Jordan 4 “Washed Denim” is Now Available

Back in 2018, iconic denim brand Levi’s teamed up with Jordan for special release of the Air Jordan 4 in their signature textile. Now, Jordan Brand is striking out on their own, with a new “Worn Blue” edition, coming in August.

The Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 made waves back in 2018, when they decorated the shoe in a stunning indigo blue weave, as well as a jet black pair later in Summer. The release drew massive lines at the Levi’s flagship store in San Francisco, as well as plenty of attention and hype during it’s wider retailer release. Those who were lucky enough to cop had fun with the pair, distressing them by hand and bleaching & redying to create a whole new look.

This Summer, Jordan Brand is giving us another opportunity at a denim-clad style of the Air Jordan 4, this time with some changes to the color blocking. The upper half of the shoe comes in a very washed blue shade, while the lower portions come in a more classic washed indigo blue color. Pairs also feature contrast white stitching like a proper pair of jeans, and use the same threads to replace the TPU cage portions of the sneaker. Finally, a gold “Family” lace ornament decorates the toes.

AIR JORDAN 4 “WASHED DENIM” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next addition to the Air Jordan 4’s denim lineup has not been officially announced for release, but is currently penciled for a release on August 9th, 2025. The washed “Worn Blue” style will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $215.

Bad Bunny & adidas Are Prepping the “Vega Baja” Gazelle for Their Next Release

After their massive The Archive exhibition in Puerto Rico last week, adidas has confirmed one of the sample pairs for a public release. Inspired by Vega Baja in PR, the bold yellow color scheme will release to the public sometime soon.

Bad Bunny is having quite a week with his adidas partnership. Having kicked off his Puerto Rico residency in July, the artist has been making a ton of appearances in his signature footwear recently. This weekend, adidas held a special exhibition at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico dubbed The Archive, where they showed off over 150 pairs of Bad Bunny sneakers. The Archive boasted every collab releases so far, as well as dozens of sample and upcoming releases.

Inspired by Vega Baja, the look marks the fourth entry in the series inspired by Benito’s homeland, and adidas has now confirmed this pair will release to the public soon. The look features a bold yellow leather base with pale yellow suede overlays. White stripes break up the color blocking, while a white ribbon runs the perimeter of the midsole to add more neutral space. Finally, lush green rope laces complete the look.

adidas Weaves Dyneema Fibers Into a Handball Spezial Two-Pack

adidas is experimenting with some new material choices for their Handball Spezial retro. This week, the Three Stripes dropped two new colorways for the trainer, both featuring a new Dyneema Composite Fabric underlay.

Dyneema is quickly becoming a household name in the world of textiles. The material comes from a manufacturer of the same name, and is a high end fiber used to create fabrics and woven materials for a wide variety of uses. Their Dyneema Composite Fabric rose to prominence through outdoor uses, primarily as a fabric for tents, hiking backpacks, and boat sails. The fiber is remarkably strong and light, boasting a tensile strength ten times that of steel, at just a fraction of the weight. This makes it incredibly versatile for rugged outdoor gear.

Despite its all-terrain versatility, Dyneema has rarely crossed over into the sneaker world. Trail shoe brand Norda uses the fiber in all of their running shoes, and now adidas might be the first to incorporate DCF into a lifestyle sneaker. The fabric consists of two layers, a woven outer shell and an ultra thin plastic-like backing. This is the style opted for by adidas, applying the material to two new styles of the Handball Spezial. While it is quite difficult to dye, they’ve managed to get two nice shades into the material, Orbit Grey and Hazy Copper. Adding suede overlays to match, both styles are now available through the Three Stripes.

ADIDAS HANDBALL SPEZIAL DYNEEMA PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ latest styles of their Handball Spezial released today, August 8th, 2025. Featuring Dyneema’s signature Composite Fabric as the shoe’s underlay, pairs are available in either Orbit Grey or Hazy Copper color schemes. Both styles are still available through the brand’s website in a wide range of sizes, with pricing set at $120 each.

adidas’ Made in Germany Superstar Returns Next Week

Last year, adidas introduced a new Made in Germany line for their iconic products. One year later, they’ve incorporated the Superstar into that lineup, dressed in a smooth “Trico” color scheme of white, blue, and red, arriving next week.

Montreal brand JJJJound has a penchant for what some consider bland sneaker collaborations. Their focus is typically on high quality materials and construction, instead of bold colorways and storytelling. When they announced an adidas partnership last year, starting off with the Samba, fans were a bit hesitant. However, the Canadian brand pushed the German sportswear giant to open up their factory in Germany for this special release. Since then, the Three Stripes has released a handful of projects from this facility, with more on the way soon.

This week adidas unveiled their latest Made in Germany project, and the first to feature an in-line version of the Superstar. While JJJJound was the first to release a German-made Superstar early this year, this is the brand’s first release of the model since February. Using the silhouette’s Vintage edition, the look starts with a clean white leather base. The midsoles and toe caps come in an eggshell white shade to offset a tonal look, and adds its stripes in bright blue tones with a dash of scarlet red in the middle. Blue heel counters round out the look.

ADIDAS SUPERSTAR MADE IN GERMANY “TRICO” RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas next release from their Made in Germany program is scheduled to arrive next week, on August 13th, 2025. Featuring the Superstar’s vintage styling and a simple white, blue, and red color scheme, pairs will be available exclusively through the brand’s Confirmed app for $250.
