Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon is back in full force, and after the initial wave of retros, new colors are coming soon. This week, the Swoosh shared release details for a colorful new “Barely Volt” style coming later this month.
Nike ended 2024 remarkably strong, with a handful of immensely popular releases. One of our favorites was the return of the Air Zoom Spiridon, a running shoe from 1997 that has made periodic returns to the brand’s catalog over the last twenty-five years. The latest retro run started in December, with the OG “Sport Red” style. With a couple more OG and retro releases now on shelves, Nike has unveiled their next brand new look, coming soon.
The last few releases of the Zoom Spiridon from Nike have been pretty tame, as they were all OG or retros pairs from the last two and a half decades. This week, they’ve unveiled a brand new style, which brings plenty of color to the ’90s runner. The look features a bright “Barely Volt” green underlay and matching inner lining, shrouded in a grey mesh overlay and black ballistic mudguard. Swooshes and tongue pieces are added in a Hot Punch red, while neon blue pull tabs at the heels complete the look.
