The updated version removes the mesh and translucent materials used on other Zoom Flys, replacing them with a single thin, yet durable and flexible piece of Nike Flyknit. Heralded by the world as the original knit shoe upper, the addition of Flyknit to the Zoom Fly will help reduce weight while bringing better comfort and adaptability to the shoe.
This week, an exciting new pack for the Zoom Fly Flyknit has surfaced online, paying homage to its ancestor, the Flyknit Racer. The Racer has been a staple of Nike’s Flyknit lineup since it premiered back in 2013. Now, the silhouette’s two most famous colorways are returning in a new form. Both the “Volt” and “Oreo” looks have been rebuilt for the Zoom Fly Flyknit, keeping similar color blocking to the originals.
