The vintage Nike Waffle Trainer 2 made a grand return this year, revived in retro form after a several-year hiatus. Now, it appears Nike has readied plenty of new colorways for the year, including this “Green Noise” version, coming soon.
Nike’s retro iteration of the Waffle Trainer 2 has launched in a handful of exciting colorways since its debut earlier this year, and the Swoosh is showing no signs of slowing down. This week, we have an early look at another upcoming release of the Waffle Trainer 2, this time dressing the vintage racer in a bright “Green Noise” color scheme. The look begins with a bold green nylon base layer for the upper, reinforced by orange suede overlays along the mudguard and heel counter, while a mango-colored Swoosh adds to the color palette. Finally, a light brown inner lining and laces complete the look.

Nike’s upcoming colorway of the classic Waffle Trainer 2 has been scheduled to release later this month, on August 23rd, 2021, according to the brand’s British release calendar. The high-contrast colorway will be available from both Nike and select retailers with a price tag of $100.
