Nike’s n.354 line is just a few months old, and already making waves. Created to fuse archival shoes with new technology, the latest all-new silhouette from the 354 team surfaced this week, showing off the upcoming Squash Type.
Nike’s new N.354 line is a refreshing take on many historic Swoosh silhouettes from over the past few decades. Using many of the prototypes and whiffed innovations from their archives, the N.354 line repurposes them for more modern releases, like this month’s reworked version of the Mac Attack, titled the Squash Type. The modernized version appears to take inspiration from both Nike SB footwear as well as the shape of the Jordan 1 Low, all packed into the form of a modern day Mac Attack. The construction consists of a mesh base layer, reinforced by a suede mudguard in a shape borrowed directly from the Mac. The rear features a wraparound leather heel counter, while a patent leather tab and Swoosh outline complete the look.

The latest model from Nike’s N.354 division, the Squash Type, has not yet been announced for releae, though they are expected to arrive on shelves sometime in the next few weeks. Launching in a debut Black/Anthracite color scheme, the Squash Type will be available from both Nike and select retailers for just $90.
