Lego is getting in on the Air Max Day fun with a special release this month. Following their version of the “Neon” Air Max 95 from early March, the Danish toy brand has unveiled a brick-built version of the iconic Nike sneaker, releasing soon.
Lego builds of sneakers have floated around the internet for years, with many fans making their own brick-built versions of iconic silhouettes. The Danish toy brand first entered the world of sneakers in 2020, teaming up with adidas to bring their signature studs to a range of Three Stripes footwear, and introducing the first official brick-built sneaker with the Superstar. Last year, Lego announced a new partnership in the sneaker world, teaming up with Nike to create play sets and wearable offerings through a multi-year partnership.
Nike and Lego have released a number of sneakers, wearable and buildable, since their announcement last year. The first wave of play models hit shelves in August, before footwear started to drop later in the year. This month, Lego has been participating in the Swoosh’s annual Air Max celebration, releasing their take on the Air Max 95 “Neon” earlier this month. Now, a buildable version of the iconic sneaker has been announced for release later this month. The special-edition set recreates the layered runner’s design entirely out of bricks, pairing it with a display stand that includes the AIR logo in accurate bubble letters, and a custom minifigure in a Nike tracksuit.
LEGO X NIKE AIR MAX 95 SET RELEASE INFORMATION
The next buildable Nike sneaker from Lego has been scheduled to arrive later this month, on March 28th, 2026. The collaborative set features a display for the iconic Air Max 95 “Neon”, complete with Air bubble logo and a custom Nike tracksuit minifig. The set contains just over 1,200 pieces, meaning the price will likely land around $100 – $110.
