Nike’s Free Run Trail 5.0 is dipping its toes into sustainability this season, with the addition of a “Crater” version of the outdoor-ready runner. Check out the new Free Run Trail 5.0 in “Cave Stone”, coming this month.
Nike’s recent Free Run Trail 5.0 has been served up in a number of colorways since its debut earlier this year by the Swoosh, but this month, Nike is putting their “Move to Zero” sustainable spin on the retro-styled trail runner. Utilizing recycled materials for the upper and reused Grind rubber accents for the midsole, the upcoming “Cave Stone” colorful of the sleek model does its part to remove waste from the production ecosystem. The look also changes up some of the materials used in the Free Trail 5.0, noticeably opting for a ripstop outer layer to the upper as opposed to the usual suede version.
