The Nike Dunk Low Remastered is coming next year. Reimagining the shoe in fresh materials and colors for the modern day, Nike is preparing their latest update for the classic basketball shoe to arrive sometime in 2023.
Nike’s Dunk silhouette has been on a tear of releases since it returned in force back in 2020, finally giving sneakerheads unfettered access to one of the most beloved silhouettes of all time. Now, with plenty more Dunk releases still on the horizon, we’ve gotten an early look at an update to the classic low-top version of the shoe, called the Dunk Low Remastered. Arriving sometime in 2023, the remastered edition rebuilds the shoe in new materials, and makes some noticeable changes to the 1980s basketball shoe. First, the base layers of the shoe come in a breathable mesh material, with the Dunk’s standard overlays added in crisp leathers. The midfoot features a small added panel above the sole likely for durability and added support, while the tongues are constructed from a thick, exposed foam with webbing loops running the length and extending up to form a pull tab. Zig-zag stitching appears in various areas on the lacing system and heels for an extra flourish, while two Nike tags on the tongues complete the look.
