Devin Booker’s second signature sneaker with Nike is now out in the world, with new colors lined up throughout the rest of the NBA season. This week, the “Must be the Denim” edition Book 2 has surfaced for a public release, coming this month.
After an extended run of the Book 1, Devin Booker and Nike finally launched the Phoenix guard’s second signature model, the Book Chapter 2, at the start of 2026. The new silhouette arrived in the first few days of January, launching in two Phoenix Suns-coded colorways for a hot start. The new model builds on the ethos of the original by retaining a simple, timeless look with some inspiration from the Air Force 1, and a new injection of style from the Air Zoom Spiridon. During the NBA All-Star Weekend in February, Booker teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment to drop a limited run of a blacked-out colorway, which will release to the public next week. Along the way, Booker’s Alma Mater, the University of Kentucky, unveiled their PE edition for the team, a denim-clad look in the school’s signature royal blue shade. Now it turns out that was just a preview of an upcoming public release dubbed “Must be the Denim”. The look is now slated to hit shelves this month, continuing Nike basketball’s recent trend of denim covered performance sneakers.
