Nike’s Air Max 1 is making the rounds this year. After an incredibly successful anniversary celebration last year, the retro runner is back and better than ever in 2018. So far, we have seen new colorways across several forms of the Air Max 1 silhouette, including the Anniversary and Premium versions. Now, Nike is introducing a clean neutral take on the beloved sneaker before Summer is gone.
The newly upgraded Nike Air Max 1 Premium takes on a fresh set of materials for these two new colorways. Cloaked in tonal grey and black tones, both pairs will come constructed in a luxurious tumbled leather matched with mesh and smooth suede in small, detailed areas. While both colorways are mostly monotone, the black pair features a grey Swoosh and forefoot striping to accentuate the dark tones throughout.

The newly retooled Nike Air Max 1 Premium colorways have not been given an official release date, though they are expected to arrive in stores soon. The smooth leather upper in grey and black will likely retail in the $140 range, from both Nike and select retailers.
