Nike’s All-Star 2026 sneaker lineup just keeps growing. From special collabs with Levi’s and Union to their in-house “Warning Label” collection, there is something for everyone. Today, we have an official look at the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 “All-Star” retro, coming soon.
The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 All‑Star debuted in 2004, designed by Eric Avar to bridge retro influences with early-2000s performance basketball innovation. It drew inspiration from the 1992 Flight Huarache while integrating responsive Zoom Air cushioning and a supportive, leather-based build for elite play. The model gained fame when Kobe Bryant sported the red, white, and blue “All-Star” colorway during the 2004 game, cementing its legacy despite not becoming his official signature shoe. Avar would go on to be the lead designer for Kobe shoes throughout his entire career, making the Huarache the start of their longtime partnership. This year, Nike is celebrating that special moment with a faithful retro of the 2004 release, delivering the iconic model back to the streets this month. The pair comes complete with special packaging, including a dustbag for transportation.
