Nike Borrows an Acronym Color Scheme for this New Air Presto

Nike’s Air Presto has been a staple from the brand since its introduction in 2000, continuing to refresh itself with new colors. This week, the Air Presto surfaced in shades of neon, inspired by a collaboration from a few years back.

The Nike Air Presto has been a fan-favorite of the brand since it first released back in the year 2000. Debuted at the Sydney Olympics as a brand-new, ultra-lightweight running shoe, the Presto was an immediate hit, thanks to the supreme comfort and t-shirt-style sizing, which came in a range of XXS to 5XL. Now, the Presto has changed slightly since its initial release, including a version designed by Errolson Hugh of Acronym, that transforms the running shoe into a technological beast. Released in a number of eye-catching colorways, Nike has adopted some elements of the ACR pair for subsequent releases, including this new “Neon” colorway that surfaced today. The new look casts the classic Air Presto in bold blue, pink, and volt shades, mimicking the color blocking of an Acronym release from 2018.
