Nike’s First Use collection continues to grow with yet another silhouette, this time the Air Max Plus, surfacing in the special theme.
We’ve seen the First Use collection grow over the past couple of weeks and it doesn’t look like Nike will be slowing production down any time soon. The collection celebrates the debut of the Nike Swoosh and the brandings first use in 1971 which started it all for the brand. Now 50 years later, the Swoosh is still going strong and this collection celebrates its long-lasting legacy.
Capitalizing on the University Blue craze, the silhouette comes decked out in University Blue mesh with a tonal suede and plastic tonal overlay system. A University Blue Swoosh is added to the sides that are outlined in Obsidian which begins minor Obsidian detailing on the sockliner, lacing system, Air Max unity, and the rubber outsole.
