Nike’s premium offerings for women’s shoes have been some of the most well-made releases in recent years. This week, that trend continues with the latest women’s Air Max 95, rebuilding the upper with premium materials like pony hair and crocodile leather.
Nike’s Air Max franchise is back on top for 2020. With the Air Max 90 celebrating its 30th anniversary, original versions of the AM1 on Nike by You, and plenty of enticing collaborations on the horizon, there’s lots to look forward to. This week, the Swoosh added an exciting new women’s colorway to the already abundant offerings, which rebuilds the AM95 with luxurious new materials and some interesting colors. The 95’s standard wavy upper has been rebuild, using panels made from pony hair, crocodile leather, suede, and more, each with its own unique look. The lateral sides of the shoe feature sunflower-print pony hair as well as the second layer in purple, grey and black croc leather, and a white suede toe. On the medial side, things are much simpler, featuring daisy print & olive green pony as well as tan and black croc leather. Vintage AirMax branding on the tongue completes the look.

Nike’s latest women’s exclusive release of the Air Max 95 Premium quietly launched overseas at certain Nike accounts throughout Asia, with no word on a planned release for the rest of the world as of yet. If so, this special-edition AM95 will likely come with a heightened price tag in the $180+ range, and will be available in limited numbers from select Nike accounts.
