The Nike Air Max 1 Arrives with a Wear-Away Upper

The sneaker that debuted all the way back in 1987, the Nike Air Max 1, will be arriving in the theme of the future with an upper designed to feature a wear-away upper and expose a brand new look underneath its Summit White makeover.

Upon first glance of this Air Max 1, you would think the sneaker was just dressed in a casual and neutrally loved White makeover but this AM1 is hiding a personality trait that makes all the difference. Officially slated for a Summit White, Sail, and Tawny colorway, the description leads out a giant factor that’s waiting to be exposed underneath the wear-away design. With wear, the sneaker transforms from a white sleek rendition to a shoe filled with copper detailing and copper stitching throughout. To complement the copper design, white detailing arrives in the form of laces, tongue, midsole, and outsole, while as a nod to the tear away aesthetic, the tongue and heel branding opt for 50% white and 50% copper.
