Nike honors Tinker Hatfield with two Air Max 1’s. Yesterday the “Sketch” pair was revealed and now this “White Schematic” version stole the sneaker spotlight today.

The legacy of the great Tinker Hatfield will never diminish. Nike has released models dedicated to him for quite some time and now two Air Max 1’s look to be inspired by his thought process when it comes to designing sneakers. His contribution to Nike and Air Jordan will never be forgotten as he is one of the people that paved the way for the sneaker industry to be where it is today.

This Air Max 1 takes a time machine back into time and visits Tinker’s original sketched from his notebook from the late ’80s. The upper arrives in an all-white look with black detailing on the outlines that contrasts the white well. Then black is seen all throughout as the design process is seen all over the sneaker in black. Finishing off the design is “Schematic, Property of Nike, Not For Resale” written in on the sockliner.
