Nike has released an interesting range of Air Max 1 colorways this year, from simple styles to wild looks like the ‘Denim Leopard’ pair that surfaced this week.
Another eclectic style of the Nike Air Max 1 has surfaced this week, adding to the long list of unique colorways the Swoosh has released over the past year. This time, the classic runner is getting a ‘Slate Blue’ color scheme that features a wide range of materials across the upper, making them appear much more complicated than usual. First, the shoe begins with a jacquard textile underlay, adding dark blue denim to the mudguards and midfoot sections. Leopard print canvas is added to the heel counters and the base of the lacing system, while stamped leather Swooshes adorn either side. The collar comes in a red and gold jacquard print, while thick white rope laces complete the look.

Nike’s wild new colorway of the Air Max 1 has not been officially announced for release, though they are expected to launch later this month, on April 28th, 2023. Adding jacquard textiles to a denim & leopard print look, pairs will be available via the SNKRS app and select retailers for $160.
