Nike’s revival of the Air Footscape Woven has been a strong part of their releases over the last year. Reintroduced as a women’s lifestyle silhouette, the model has brought plenty of new colorways, recently adding a “Dark Raisin” purple pair to the Fall 2024 lineup.
The original Footscape line from Nike was a wild innovation from the brand’s running division when it first debuted in 1996. Built on scans of hundreds of athletes’ feet, the shoes were designed to follow the natural curves of a human’s feet, resulting in the asymmetrical build we know today, and one that has been imitated by a number of other footwear brands since. Last year, the Swoosh revived their Woven edition of the Air Footscape, delivering a handful of fun new colors in women’s sizing.
The Air Footscape Woven has quietly continued to be a standard part of Nike’s releases in 2024, with plenty of in-line and special-edition colorways launching so far this year. More pairs are still slated to drop this Fall, with a “Dark Raisin” purple style joining the lineup this week. This look pits the shoe in a shaggy dark purple suede for its upper, paired with black woven elements. Midsoles come in the off-white sail hue to give them a vintage look.

Nike’s new colorway of the Air Footscape Woven does not have an official release date yet, but is expected to arrive sometime in Fall 2024. The “Dark Raisin” purple look with black and sail tones will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $160.
