Nike’s latest retro of their Air Footscape Woven from the ’90s arrived last year, releasing a range of colors in women’s sizing. This week, the Swoosh unveiled a new black edition of the classic “Rainbow” color scheme, dropping later this year during the holiday season.
Nike’s SNKRS Showcase is back this week, debuting a massive array of upcoming releases from the Swoosh throughout the rest of 2024 and into Spring 2025. They showed off a number of retro models and rereleases of classics, as well as introducing some new silhouettes and collaborations. Among the shoes shown was a new pair of the Air Footscape Woven, an asymmetrical running shoe originally released in 1996, and retroed again in 2023. The past year has brought us plenty of new colors of the woven model, as well as a rehashed pair of the “Rainbow” style from the ’90s. Now, they’ve unveiled a black version of the classic look, casting the shoe’s upper in a smooth black suede with all colors of the rainbow making up the woven nylon elements.

Nike’s new colorway of their retro Air Footscape Woven finally has a release date, scheduled to arrive this month on October 25th, 2024. Dressed in a sleek black suede with colorful woven elements, pairs will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for an expected $160.
