Nike Air Fear of God SS19 Footwear Release Tomorrow

Nike and Jerry Lorenzo are gearing up for a big release of two great silhouettes. Get a better look at the Nike Air Fear of God Raid “Light Bone” and the Moc “Pure Platinum” that releases this weekend.

After a very successful release of the Nike Air Fear of God 1 at the beginning of the year, the Nike x Fear of God collection looks to be expanding. Recently we have seen many new models and colorways appear online with no timetable for a release. Finally, two new silhouettes are releasing this weekend that appear in perfect spring colorways.

The first model, the Nike Air Fear of God Raid calls upon a “Light Bone” colorway that was previously used on the initial debut of the collab. Inspired by the Air Raid outdoor basketball shoe from the ’90s, it’s a mash-up of a vintage silhouette and the newly founded swagger of luxury streetwear. The sneaker features criss-cross straps on the midfoot that flows to the heels and a simplistic toggle lacing system. A black Nike Swoosh is able to shine as it contrasts the shoe’s light upper. To finish off the look, a sail midsole features embossed branding and a blue double-stacked Zoom Air unit that provides responsive cushioning. The madness does not stop there as there is another brand new model that features a distinctly fresh new look releasing as well.

The other is the Nike Air Moc “Pure Platinum” and it looks to add a new flare to the sneaker industry. Although Jerry Lorenzo has touched on basketball styled shoes, he is no stranger to expansion and broadening his horizons. Resembling characteristics of a moccasin, hence the name, the designer adds a luxurious athletic style to the simple silhouette. It features a platinum grey upper that is constructed with lightweight ripstop canvas and a tonal forefoot strap that flows across the front that contains a black Nike Swoosh. Ensuring it stays fitted to the foot, an added toggle lacing system can be found on the heels. Also to give the shoe an added feature of easy on/easy off ability just like a real moccasin, a snap can be found on the lateral collar. To top it off, a sail midsole with tonal branding as well as a blue stacked Zoom Air unit makes up the bottoms.
