New Balance is constantly reimagining their retro 550 silhouette with new colorways. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Pine Green’ style, coming soon.
Releases of New Balance’s 550 sneaker are seemingly never-ending, with fresh color schemes popping up on a near-weekly basis. The model was revived and rose to prominence in 2020 thanks to Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore, and has since seen dozens of drops in the past three years. This week, a new ‘Pine Green style has surfaced, and is expected to arrive in stores soon. The new look features the shoe’s ‘class’c color blocking, beginning with an off-white leather for the bulk of the upper. The signature green shade is added to the ‘N’ logos, suede collar overlays, and the tongues’ branding to complete the look.
NEW BALANCE 550 ‘PINE GREEN’ RELEASE INFORMATION
New Balance’s upcoming “Pine Green” edition of the 550 has not been announced for release, but is expected to drop sometime early in 2023. The green and white color scheme will likely be available from both the brand’s website and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $110.
