Man, New Balance really loves their grey colorways. Earlier this week, we shared early images of a new white & grey 550, and already, another new pair with a slightly different ‘Marblehead’ grey color blocking has emerged.
Have you had enough of New Balance finding new ways to craft a white/grey color scheme? Good, because neither have they. The 550 receives another neutral update this week, adding to the already lengthy list of grey color schemes the shoe has seen since its first retro release in 2020. This time around, the color blocking is altered, using multiple shades of grey and white to tie together this ‘Marblehead’ look. The new pair begins with a white leather forefoot, leading into a white leather mid section. The vamp layer features perforated leather and black piping around the edges, while the signature ‘N’ logo comes in cream white with black piping. The mesh layer in the heels also comes in cream, while varying shades of grey are layered on top to complete the look.

New Balance continues to produce more colorways of the fan-favorite 550, including the ‘Marblehead’ grey pair that is set to release next week, on October 19th, 2022. Dressed in white, cream, and grey, pairs will likely be available directly from the brand’s website and select retailers for $110.
