After first unveiling their new runner model, in January, New Balance has finalized a release date for the 5030, a low-profile new silhouette launching in two colorways on April 1st.
New year, new New Balance sneakers. Back in January, during Paris Fashion Week, Italian retailer Slam Jam had the opportunity to unveil a brand new model from the Boston footwear brand, the 5030. Very little information about the shoe was shared, but now a couple months removed from that first look, NB has added the 5030 to their launch calendar, debuting the runner in two colorways in April. Details are still scarce as the product pages don’t provide much insight into anything other than the name, colors, and price, but at least we have official images to speculate from. The two debut styles for the 5030 are opposites; one in white with “Magic Blue” splashed across the upper, and the other in black with a regal “Electric Indigo” purple tone. The shoe appears to be constructed with a single-piece, no-stitch upper, mounted on top of a sleek sole unit that combines sweeping lines for the forefoot with pod-like Abzorb cushioning under the heels.

New Balance’s debut of their brand new 5030 silhouette has been scheduled to arrive soon, on April 1st, 2026. The sleek new runner will arrive in two styles for its debut, a brighter “Magic Blue” pair and the darker “Electric Indigo” counterpart. Pairs have already been added to New Balance’s release calendar, and will come with a price tag of just $120.
