The 1000 from New Balance is shaping up to be a mainstay of the brand’s releases this year, with numerous pairs already leaked for 2024. This week, a new “Reflective” pack featuring silver and purple/black colorways surfaced, coming later this year.
The return of the New Balance 1000 was initially teased early this year, with JoeFreshGoods showing off his collaboration with the retro model. Since then, the silhouette has surfaced in a healthy range of color schemes, though only the JFG pair, along with an in-line “Metallic Silver” style, have been released thus far. However, Aimé Leon Dore is throwing their hat into the ring and releasing a three-pack of colorways this week. Now, another set of new styles has emerged, coming later this year for the “Reflective” pack. The first pair in the pack features a simple silver and grey look, mixing similar shades of the two across its mesh and synthetic paneling. The second pair is brighter, featuring a gradient mesh base that transitions from purple at the toes to orange and yellow in the heels. The overlay panels come in black that turn purple in direct light, with neon green accents to complete the look.
