New Balance’s retro 1000 model has had some time to settle in to the brand’s current lineup. Now, more in-line colors are starting to emerge, including a dark “Army Green” style, coming soon.
New Balance has kept their releases of the 1000 runner slow and steady over the last few months. The show kicked off with a collaboration with JoeFreshGoods, before making its debut in standard-issue styles. This month saw the release of a simple grey pair from Ronnie Fieg & Kith, as well as the reveal of an upcoming release from thisisneverthat. Now, we have an early look at some Fall pairs coming soon.
New Balance is shifting in darker color schemes for the Fall & Winter seasons, dressing their mainline sneakers in appropriate neutral tones. This week, an “Army Green” pair of the 1000 has surfaced, dressing the shoe in a camouflage shade of olive leather. This is paired with black mesh underlays and ‘N’ logos, with just a hint of yellow branding to complete the look.
