Kiko and Asics are back. Building on the success of several previous projects, London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov and Japan’s Asics are back to work on a new collection, including the Gel Korik that was officially unveiled yesterday.
Kiko Kostadinov’s collaborations with Asics have been dominant in the fashion world over the past year. With every new project, the hype and and anticipation seems to double. Obviously, the footwear has been the star of the show thus far, a trend that appears to continue with their latest work, which was teased by Asics earlier this week. This time around, the two are using the Gel-Korik as their canvas, which will release in four colorways so far. The first two are simple, painting the silhouette entirely in black or silver for a more subtle, tonal look. The second two are on the other end of the spectrum, filled with bright colors. One pair mixes shades of blue, green, and gold with a bright red mesh underlay, while the second combines pink, orange, and red tones with accents in purple and blue.

The latest collaboration between Asics and Bulgarian fashion desginer Kiko Kostadinov, focusing on the Gel Korik, has not yet been announced for release. However, Asics was quick to supply their official imagery after the early leak this week, so we can expect them to hit shelves sometime in the coming weeks.
