Kids of Immigrants made their collaborative debut with Nike in 2024. This year, they are back for their sophomore release, recently teasing a pair of the Swoosh’s Total 90 low-top, altered to be a new Mule version of the shoe.
Kids of Immigrants was founded in Los Angeles in 2016, and has been on the rise ever since. The name is fairly self-explanatory in regards to their history and founders, and their unique designs have caught the eyes of Nike. Their first team-up with the Swoosh came with the introduction of the ‘big bubble’ Air Max 1 ’86, and gave KoI the chance to create and release several limited-edition colorways exclusively through an LA pop-up. Last year, KoI released their first official collaboration, reimagining the Air Max Sunder in two bright colorways that racked up SOTY nominations. This week, the brand has begun to tease their next creation from Nike. Our first look at their upcoming release appears to show off a special pair of the Total 90, a low-top soccer boot that was recently repurposed for lifestyle. Thanks to some leaked info, we know there will be two colors of the shoe, and that the heels have been removed to make the shoe a slip-on mule. The pair in the photo appears to be the “Khaki” edition, with red Swooshes, suede tongues, and a burgundy inner lining.
KIDS OF IMMIGRANTS X NIKE TOTAL 90 MULE PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
Kids of Immigrants and Nike have not officially announced anything regarding their next collaboration, but the project is expected to land during the Summer 2026 season. Taking on the Total 90 for this release, KoI has reportedly drafted two colorways of the low-top sneaker, and removed the heels to make it a Mule style. Pairs are expected to release from both Nike and select retailers for $120.
