The team over at Jordan are releasing a new runner that is inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 1. Dubbed, the Jordan 85 Racer, this runner comes with an upper that looks very familiar.
No one can argue the fact that the Jordan 1 is the most iconic shoe released to date. Debuting in 1985, it shows just how ahead of their time Michael Jordan and his team were. Over 30 years later the silhouette is still heavily regarded as Americas favorite sneaker and it has yet to go out of style.
With this being said, Jordan Brand looks to give the iconic treatment to a new runner, the Jordan Zoom Air 85. Making its debut in the “Chicago” colorway, it features a translucent upper that sees added details on red paneling overlays. A black Nike Swoosh adorns the midfoot, while the new silhouette shows respect to the 1 with a Wings Logo on the heel counter. A white midsole and red outsole completes the design.

Although we do not have a release date just yet, you can expect to see these roll out soon before the year ends. We do not know the retail price as of yet but these will hit select retailers and Nike.com.
