The New Balance 2010 has had its initial run of in-line and collab colorways. Now, the Boston brand has another special-edition project on the way, designed in collaboration with JoeFreshGoods.
The New Balance 2010 introduces a fresh chapter in NB’s heritage series, fusing early-2000s running DNA with elevated lifestyle appeal. The upper blends layered suede and mesh materials, channeling the tech-runner aesthetics of that era. Underfoot, it features ABZORB cushioning for comfort and a molded midsole for structural support. Launched in partnership with Kith before landing in versatile palettes like “Black Cement” and “Arid Stone,” the 2010 holds its ground in the crowded heritage market. It’s a clear nod to NB’s archival identity while steering toward modern versatility and streetwear relevance.
Since its debut in May, the 2010 has become a large piece of New Balance’s 2025 catalog. The model has hit shelves in over a dozen in-line colorways, with more collaborative releases from WTAPS and CdG to garner hype around the new silhouette. This week, the model has surfaced in another special-edition look, curated by one of NB’s best partners; JoeFreshGoods. His take on the model brings a snakeskin-inspired pattern to two colorways of the silhouette. The outer layers on these pairs are made from an intricate knit material, reflecting the cozy house-shoe runners theme shared by JFG.
