Mancina, who was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at thirteen, has redefined the boundaries of skateboarding through his passion and resilience, getting sponsorships with Real Skateboards and adidas.
The adidas Busenitz, in Mancina’s custom colorway, features an olive-colored suede upper, complemented by white and red stripes. The most striking feature is Mancina’s last name embossed in braille on the tongue label, a nod to his visual impairment. The shoe also replaces the traditional “Busenitz” text with special branding, adding a unique touch to this already distinctive design.
