Kiko Kostadinov’s Asics US7-S GEL-Kinetic Fluent Comes Covered in Patterns

Kiko Kostadinov’s version of the Asics GEL-Kinetic Fluent returns this season with a new update. Now labeled US7-S, the updated version of the runner comes in three colorways, each covered in various patterned layers.

Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov began working with ASICS around 2017–2018, initially designing standout collaborative sneakers like the Gel-Burz 1 that blended his avant-garde sensibility with ASICS performance heritage. Over time, his role deepened beyond occasional collabs; he became creative director for ASICS SportStyle, guiding the division’s vision to merge fashion-forward design with functional footwear. Under his direction, SportStyle expanded with innovative models across GEL-based silhouettes and the ASICS Novalis line, often using a special designation like their latest release, the US7-S GEL-Kinetic Fluent.

Asics’ GEL-Kinetic Fluent was introduced to their SportStyle lineup this time last year, bringing a highly futuristic new silhouette to the line. The shoe’s forward-leaning stance with a hefty dose of GEL cushioning in the heel has been a favorite of the brand’s collaborative partners, and Kiko Kostadinov was the first to take a crack at it with his US6-S editions. This season, they’ll introduce an update, dubbed US7-S, which brings an array of patterns to three colorways of the runner. Pairs come in Black/Grey, Brown/Yellow, and Green/Tan, and each sports a circular, donut-like pattern for the outer layers.

ASICS US7-S GEL-KINETIC FLUENT RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest designs from Kiko Kostadinov’s side of Asics SportStyle have been scheduled to release next week, on February 20th, 2026. Featuring the GEL-Kinetic Fluent for this release, the US7-S version brings a variety of patterns to the futuristic runner, dressing the shoe in three colorways; black, yellow, and green. Pairs will be available from both Asics and select retailers, pricing is currently unknown.
