London-based streetwear brand Aries has floated through the sneaker world over the last few years, teaming up with different brands for special projects. This week, they’ve announced a new release with PUMA, featuring a two-pack of the Mostro Craft.
PUMA has found a new collaborative partner in Aries, the London streetwear label founded by Sofia Prantera. The label already has projects with New Balance, Vans, Reebok, and Crocs under their belt, and is ready to take on something new. Aries’ focus is on unisex clothing, adding graphic designs that are inspired by the ’80s and ’90s punk & rave scenes. Their founder, trained at Central Saint Martins in London often references Italian craftsmanship in their designs, a nod to her own roots in the country.
The new project from Aries and PUMA will tackle the Mostro for their debut release, a silhouette originally released in 1999 that combines a track spike and surf shoe from the brand’s archives. The Mostro has been revived for 2025, repurposed and reworked to be a lifestyle sneaker. Aries’ take on the model brings a craftier approach to the sleek silhouette, featuring suede uppers and reimagines the signature FormStrip on the side walls as a cut and folded element for a unique new look. Two colors will be available, grey and brown, each adding a colorful elements to the soles to complete the look.
ARIES X PUMA MOSTRO CRAFT PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming project from London’s Aries and PUMA has been scheduled to release this week, on May 2nd, 2025. The Mostro Craft pack features two styles of the premium silhouette in grey and brown, and will be available from both partners for $150. PUMA’s release will be available starting at 9PM Pacific time on the 2nd.
