Jordan Brand has finally acknowledged the Air Jordan 11’s thirtieth anniversary this year, unveiling a nine-shoe collection for the occasion. The purple “Mojave” style takes inspiration from Las Vegas, and will be a North American-exclusive release.
The Air Jordan 11, released in 1995, stands as one of the most culturally significant sneakers ever. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, it introduced patent leather to basketball footwear, blending luxury with performance. Michael Jordan wore them during his first full season back from retirement, culminating in the Bulls’ historic 72–10 run. The AJ11 also transcended sports, appearing in pop culture moments like Space Jam and red carpet events. Its mix of elegance and performance cemented the AJ11 as a symbol of style, status, and sneaker culture.
This morning, Jordan Brand unveiled a huge collection of styles to celebrate the AJ11’s 30 year anniversary. The project features nine colorways total, including the classic “Gamma” among a bunch of brand new looks. Some are regional exclusives, like this “Mojave” edition dropping inly in North America. The look is inspired by a sunset in Las Vegas, dressing the shoe in a dark Canyon Purple aged nubuck. Reflective Jumpman logos are added to reflect the Vegas city lights, while a gold carbon fiber outsole plate represents the opulence of the Strip.

The Air Jordan 11’s thirtieth anniversary collection will release over the course of the next few months, with this “Mojave” look arriving on November 22nd, 2025. Dressed in a dark purple nubuck, this pair is a North America-exclusive release, only dropping in select retail partners across the country.
